“Mr. Robinette was great at helping me develop my welding skills. Thanks to him my prospects for landing a great job after graduation are excellent. “

“The Inaugural Scrap Competition held last fall at MTEC was an extraordinarily successful event that tested the students’ skills and showcased their talents across NCWV. The Explore Program has used this contest as a template for Scrap Competitions throughout WV. Don Robinette led the way in coordinating the event and ensuring every detail was thoroughly addressed. Without his involvement, Scrap wouldn’t be positioned to be a statewide program going forward.”

“Don is so inspiring and fun! He always has the students’ best interest in mind and creates an incredible environment for learning.”

We are honored and excited to work in partnership with Scrap, Explore, and area educators like Don Robinette. We immediately recognized those leading this initiative were vested in the next generation of creatives, problem solvers, and out of the box thinkers our community needs. We’ve seen first-hand the enthusiasm and sense of accomplishment these students feel in their work. It's a privilege to share their success!
