Top 3 Career Goals
1. Local pipefitters’ apprenticeship program
2. Journeyman in the pipefitters’ union
3. Apply to three local unions (Parkersburg, Charleston and Huntington, WV)

Seth has earned OSHA-10 certification and six welding certifications.
“Seth has excelled in his welding class and the shop area. He is a leader and foreman in the simulated workplace and has also earned state welding certificates in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW plates and pipes. As a Junior and a Senior, Seth represented RJTC in the State Skills competition in Welding.”

“One of the most important influences throughout my education was being introduced to welding during an agricultural class I took in my freshman year. This introduction opened my eyes to many different career paths that I hadn’t considered, leading me to the decision to attend Roane-Jackson Technical Center’s two-year Welding Technology program as an upperclassman.”
“Seth is, without a doubt, one of the hardest working students that I have ever observed in our school. He is willing to learn new things without giving up on any project. Seth is always on task and will take the initiative to complete these tasks while producing quality work. I truly believe that Seth will take advantage of any opportunity that crosses his path.”
